Torfay Sharifnia Roman, MD, joined the Florida Hospital Transplant Institute in October 2014 as a transplant hepatologist. She completed her transplant hepatology fellowship training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee. She also completed her internal residency training at Boston University Medical Center in Boston, Massachusetts and her gastroenterology fellowship training at Vanderbilt University Medical Center in Nashville, Tennessee.

Education

Dr. Roman received a Bachelor of Science degree in Neuroscience at Amherst University graduating Magna Cum Laude and earned her medical degree from Tulane University School of Medicine. She completed an Internal Medicine residency at Boston University Medical Center. She later completed Fellowships in Transplant Hepatology and Gastroenterology at Vanderbilt University Medical Center.
