Pediatric Kidney Transplant

Florida Hospital revitalized the pediatric kidney transplant program in 2006, providing a much needed service to the Central Florida community.

Many pediatric transplant candidates are born with problems that degrade their kidney function over time, eventually placing them on dialysis. Today, nearly 800 children await lifesaving kidney transplants in the United States.
