Donate Life
The greatest gift of all is the gift of life. There are many ways to help transplant patients: registering to be an organ donor, giving blood, donating a kidney, or giving a financial contribution to those who need assistance.
Register to be an Organ Donor
More than 100,000 people currently await lifesaving organ transplants. To register to be an organ donor or learn more about the process, go to the Donate Life Florida website.
Blood Donation
When someone receives a transplant, additional blood is needed during surgery to support the implant of the new organ. Giving blood is not only simple, but it makes a big difference for transplant patients! To find the nearest blood center, go to Florida's Blood Centers website.
Living Kidney Donor Program
Many people who need a kidney transplant receive their new kidney from a family member, friend, or sometimes even an anonymous person. If you are interested in donating a kidney, call (407) 303-2474 or learn more about it on our Living Kidney Donor program page.
Financial Contributions
The Florida Hospital Transplant Center works with the Foundation team to raise funds for patients, programs, or facilities that need assistance. If you are interested in donating money towards one of these causes, go to the Florida Hospital Foundation website.
